This project aims to explore the economic factors, business challenges, and opportunities that small businesses face due to trade relations between the United States and Canada. Our goal is provide insight and analysis of the current trade environment, identify key challenges, and highlight potential opportunities for small businesses.


This can include small businesses that import, export or operate only domestically.

Objectives:

  1. To understand the economic factors influencing US/Canada trade relations.
  2. To identify the challenges faced by small businesses in this trade environment.
  3. To explore the opportunities available for small businesses.
  4. To provide recommendations for small businesses to navigate the trade landscape effectively.


Deliverables

Methodology:

  1. Literature and Current Events Review: Conduct a review of existing and current events on US/Canada trade relations, focusing on economic factors, challenges, and opportunities for small businesses.
  2. Data Collection: As needed.
  3. Interviews/Surveys: Conduct interviews or surveys with small business owners and people in the know, to gain insights into their experiences and perspectives.
  4. Analysis: Analyze the collected data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  5. Recommendations: Develop recommendations based on the analysis to help small businesses sustain, survive or thrive in the US/Canada trade environment.
