Details

We would like students to help us with our youth program initiative that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

BEBC is a black-led organization, representing Black businesses in Canada. We are providing a unified platform for advocating and supporting Black entrepreneurs and businesses in Canada. In addition to advocacy, we help facilitate access to financing (Federal, Provincial, and Local) and provide advisory and mentorship services to our members.

Our goal is to help Black businesses grow, scale up and become sustainable.

Ultimately, you will be working on our youth program Initiative for our organization, including helping us organize the program, creating content for social media, and hosting town hall meetings.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Curating & creating content to promote and support the co-hots pre, during and post co-hort
  • Advertising next cohort dates and recruiting young entrepreneurs for the program
  • Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
  • Identify areas we can be improving as a community and communities we can build new relationships with.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager and Project Coordinator, who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
