Details

The ICRC/CCBI is seeking to strengthen its internal decision-making and strategic planning by developing a comprehensive, community-informed data model. The goal of this project is to analyze client and service usage patterns to improve how the organization tracks engagement, identifies trends, and allocates resources after a business development realignment post-Trump elections.

Learners will work with real organizational data to design a structured, efficient, and scalable data model that reflects the complexity of CCBI’s service delivery.

This project offers students a valuable opportunity to apply data analysis and modeling techniques in a nonprofit social economy context, contributing directly to more equitable, evidence-based programming.

Deliverables

Tasks will include reviewing and cleaning existing datasets, identifying key metrics for stakeholder engagement, and proposing a model that can be integrated into current systems and reporting tools.

The deliverables for this project include a detailed data model that maps client and service usage patterns, accompanied by a comprehensive report explaining the model's structure and functionality. Additionally, a presentation to demonstrate how the model can be used to track engagement and identify trends.

Founded in January 2024, CCBI is a budding social enterprise led by professionals from the communities we serve. Building its reputation in tax and accounting services for individuals, nonprofits and charities while advancing economic well-being within underrepresented 2SLGBTQ+ communities through its programming. Our programs enhance financial literacy, economic resilience, and access to essential financial services within grassroots 2SLGBTQ+ networks.
